Lincoln Be Smarter facilitates digitisation for Lincoln-based SMEs as a way to help propel business growth and improve internal processes. The project, facilitated by the Lincoln Town Deal, has a three year lifecycle until December 2025. In this time, we’re looking to support as many eligible businesses as possible.

Due to the terms of project set by both the Towns Fund and the City of Lincoln Council, we are only able to assist businesses that are registered within Lincoln.

Our Core Eligibility Criteria 

In order to be eligible for our grant funding, academic support, or regular workshops, you must meet the following criteria.

Lincoln Location

Your business must have an address within the Lincoln District. This means our support is only available for those with a business within the City’s borders.

Overjoyed barista

SME Status

We are not eligible to support any enterprise that has over 250 employees. However, we can support any business from sole traders through to medium-sized enterprises.

Any funding or academic support project may only go ahead if we can show that the level of digitalisation within your business will improve because of this support.

By using digital tools, such as cloud storage, online bookkeeping and invoicing software, online marketing platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, small businesses can streamline their processes and increase their efficiency.
